Pride Week In Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is gearing up to host their LGBT Pride week from May 20 to 27, 2018.

Not only is the event important for humankind, educating people about equal rights, acceptance and celebrating diversity, but the festival is excellent business for Puerto Vallarta. Last year’s event saw an influx of over 17,000 visitors and the number continues to grow each year.

Puerto Vallarta expects this year’s event to be the most significant Pride event in the region. According to the Vallarta Pride website, local businesses, associations, and the LGBT community have joined forces to organize this event, including concerts, entertainment, films, art and culture, a Pride Parade, and of course there will be a lot of parties.

Puerto Vallarta is known worldwide as a safe and exciting place to vacation; it has become a mecca for international and local LGBT travelers. It is home to many gay-friendly and gay-owned businesses which cater specifically to LGBT travelers.
